SBI Mutual Fund has declared that its SBI Infrastructure Fund - Series 1, which is a close ended scheme, will be converted to an open ended scheme. The change has been in effect from 09th July, 2010. After the conversion to open ended scheme, the fund will charge 1 per cent exit load, if units are redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment. SBI Infrastructure Fund - Series 1 is an equity scheme, with investment objective to provide investors with opportunities for long-term growth in capital through an active management of investments in a diversified basket of equity stocks of companies directly or indirectly involved in the infrastructure growth in the Indian economy and in debt and money market instruments.
